F.A.Q.s

Is it legit ?

Yes, it’s legit.

It’s not exactly an “audiobook”; Think like a spoken narrative accented by sound or instrumentals. There are no video elements and performers are not captured on camera with the exception of b-roll in the studios, which may be used for marketing and promotion.

The Producer is looking to produce 3 of the 8 short-form scripts currently optioned for early 2026.

By opening submissions now, we hope to match voices to characters, helping us narrow down the selection.

One in Feb, one in April, one in June. Each approx. 30 days total production time, though performers may not be required for this full time.

Scale, pursuant to Audio Code Sec. F

It’s the equivalent to the Independent Production Agreement (IPA), except covers audio-only productions. Check it out here.

Yes, these productions are scheduled to be produced under union jurisdiction, and all performers are engaged under an ACTRA contract.

This means that you are insured while working either from home or at the studio, and your rights as a performer are protected.

We wouldn’t, would we? Audio productions aren’t generally listed there.

You sure can! Though keep in mind the contract and process for engagements under the Audio Code is a bit different than film.

Upon successful audition and selection for a role, you will be offered your contract, which functions also as the Producers letter of Adherence, which you can view here.

No. It’s not. Though a scammer would say that.

To be clear, this is also not a plot to feed AI with all your talented voices. Please submit in confidence knowing that we do not approve of the use of AI in our productions.

The production company is registered in Canada, and the producer is also an ACTRA member, having produced both film and audio products under union jurisdiction.

YES!

It’s gonna be a mix and match of voices, so if you’re a union member, now’s the time to apply.

Non-union performers may submit for future casting opportunities, however we are not considering non-union performers at this point in time.
